Terms of Service

1. Nature of Service
Top Tier Express Logistics provides international shipping and courier services from overseas (China and United States) to Jamaica via air and sea freight. We act as a shipping intermediary and are responsible for transporting packages from our overseas warehouse to Jamaica.
2. Liability Disclaimer
Top Tier Express Logistics is not responsible for any damaged, lost, or stolen packages during transit.
We are also not responsible for items that are improperly packaged by the sender, retailer, or supplier. Customers are advised to ensure that all items are securely and properly packaged prior to shipment.
3. Insurance (Optional)
Customers may choose to purchase shipping insurance for added protection.
Insurance starts at JMD $2,000 and increases based on the declared value of the item(s). Insurance is non-refundable once purchased.
In the event of damage or loss during transit, insured items may be replaced or compensated based on the declared value, subject to review and approval.
4. Delivery Timeframes
Air Freight: Estimated delivery within 2–3 business days after the package is received at our overseas address.
Sea Freight: Used for barrels and bulky items; delivery times vary and are longer.
All delivery times are estimates and may be affected by customs processing, weather conditions, or carrier delays.
5. Processing Fees
A processing fee of JMD $350 applies to packages weighing 10 pounds and over.
6. Storage and Late Fees
Customers are expected to collect or arrange delivery of packages within seven (7) days of notification.
After seven (7) days, a storage or late fee of JMD $250 will be charged. Additional fees may apply for extended delays.
7. Uncollected Packages
Any package not collected within eight (8) weeks (two months) of arrival will be considered abandoned.
Top Tier Express Logistics reserves the right to dispose of or sell such packages. The package will no longer belong to the customer, and no compensation will be provided.
8. Delivery and Collection
We offer door-to-door delivery within Kingston and Knutsford Express delivery for customers outside Kingston.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery and contact information.
9. Payment Terms
All shipping and related fees must be paid in full before the release or delivery of packages. Failure to make payment may result in delays or withholding of packages.
10. Prohibited Items
Customers must not ship illegal or restricted items, including but not limited to drugs, weapons, hazardous materials, or counterfeit goods.
Any such items may be confiscated and reported to the relevant authorities without refund.
11. Customs and Duties
Customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or additional charges imposed by Jamaican authorities. These fees are separate from shipping charges.
12. Customer Responsibility
Customers agree to provide accurate shipment information, use their assigned shipping address correctly, and ensure that all items shipped are legal and properly packaged.
13. Changes to Terms
Top Tier Express Logistics reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice.
